This place wins on vibes & service alone! The plant room is my favorite. Natural light and big beautiful plants everywhere makes it feel so fresh and welcoming. The staff is always so positive and vibrant and I look forward to that consistency every time I dine here. The menu and execution is always great. This time I got the burger and it was so yummy! The black pepper aioli really took it up a notch! Always a great meal with great people here!

Another stellar experience at the holidays for lunch! Mom and I visited for a quick Christmas lunch and it was so yummy! Food was great (Blue Hen Salad/Grilled Cheese/Tomato Soup/Carrot Cake)! Drinks also delish (Peppermint Ice Coffee). Service was quick, friendly and accurate. Also perused the little gifts that were available. Love love this place!
Our daughter introduced us to this gem when we were visiting from out of town, and we enjoyed lunch on the patio. Everything on the menu is delicious, including the vegan options. The inside is quaint and cozy, and we wished we could have gone back for dinner. We look forward to visiting again!
Such a cute alleyway walk to the place. We sat in the back on the patio area and wow the plans, flowers and umbrellas were the vibe Got drinks at the bar and only waited 10-15 minutes on a Friday around 7PM so personally thought the service was nice and fast. Pro tip for the Mac and cheese -- eat it with their chips for the extra crunch and you will not be disappointed!

What a lovely place. The ambience is charming. The food was divine as was the service. I love it! I can't wait to visit again. We shared the hummus platter. My husband had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. I had the impossible burger. We were so impressed.
What an awesome little escape away while visiting New Castle. I'll be back soon. I'm sure of it. I actually found this place on Yelp while my friend was driving. We wanted something different and non-chain and this was even better than expected. They've turned a residence into an adorable and modern teahouse with delicious beverages and food. I had the salad and a tea while my friend had the veggie gyro and a craft beer. The many windows and plants give The Mercury Cafe and Teahouse a vibe like no other. Totally worth a visit and I can see meeting people there for catching up and then strolling around after.
We love coming here when we want a little escape. The food is creative, fresh, and tasty; and the coffee, espresso, and tea is downright delicious. There are multiple seating areas, all which have their own vibe. During our last visit we started indoors by the plants then moved outdoors to finish our drinks. It was so relaxing. It can get busy and as the food is made to order, may take a little time for your food to get to you. Go when you have a little time and can enjoy the experience.
Talk about a rare find! This place is located in historic New Castle. It's tucked away, but clearly there are many people who frequent this place on a regular basis. I went with a friend who said this place was amazing. I didn't realize that this place was a vegetarian cafe and tea shop. There are plenty of options on their menu that will satisfy your needs. They even have specials, not sure how often they rotate them. The service was amazing. The food was just as delicious. I went with the grilled cheese and upgraded to the tomato soup for my side. The grilled cheese was served on yummy sourdough bread. The tomato soup was thick but great for dunking! I ended up getting a raspberry crumb tart for dessert.
